  • I have completed my +2 with 60% marks. Am I eligible to take admission in B.Tech program?

    Yes, provided you completed +2 in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject, and you have secured aggregate 40% marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the subject from the list Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Along with that a qualifying rank in JEE/OJEE is a must to get admission in any B.Tech program.

  • I have completed +2 Arts with more than 60% marks with Mathematics as one of my subject. Can I take admission in any of the B.Tech programs?

    No. It has to be +2 Science examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject.

  • What is OJEE?

    OJEE stands for Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, which is conducted by OJEE board, usually in the month of May. A qualifying rank in OJEE/JEE is one of the mandatory criteria for taking admission into B.Tech programs in Odisha.

  • What is JEE?

    JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) in the month of December, February and April. A qualifying rank in JEE is one of the mandatory criteria for taking admission into B.Tech programs throughout India.

  • How OJEE differs from JEE?

    OJEE is a state level entrance examination for taking admission into various professional courses including B.Tech and M.Tech, and is meant for residents of state of Odisha only. Where as JEE is a national level entrance examination conducted by NTA, for taking admission into institution like IIT/NIT/IIIT/CFTI etc.

  • I have passed + Science examination, but didn't appear either OJEE or JEE. Am I still eligible to take admission in B.Tech program?

    Yes, provided you must have atleast 50% aggregate mark in qualifying examination(45% in case of reserved category candidates).
