To streamline the maintenance and utilization of physical, academic and sports facilities the institute has Maintenance Committee that supervises the maintenance of buildings, classrooms and laboratories. The Maintenance committee is headed by the Administrative Officer who in turn monitors the work of the Supervisor at the next level. The Supervisor is accountable to the Administrative Officer and functions as the coordinator who efficiently organizes the workforce, maintaining duty files containing details about their individual floor - wise responsibilities, timings, leave etc.

Administrative and Academic block management:

  • In Library each unit of stock is supervised by the library staff members on regular basis. Physical verification of the library stocks is carried out to identify the losses, misplaced documents, documents that need repair, etc. by a team of members appointed by the library committee along with library staff.
  • To maintain hygiene, neatness and infrastructure, the institute has employed good number of in-house staff to keep an eye on the hygiene, cleanliness and infrastructure on the campus so as to provide a congenial learning environment. Non - teaching staff are assigned for each floor. Classrooms, Staffroom, Seminar halls and Laboratories, etc are cleaned and maintained regularly. Wash rooms and rest rooms are well maintained. Dustbins are placed in every floor. The greenery of the campus is exclusively maintained by a full time gardener. The preview includes maintenance of Generator, Air Conditioners, CCTV cameras and Water Purifiers. The college has trained in - house electricians and plumbers. Apart from it the institute also hires contact workers.
  • Periodic reporting on requirements of repairs and maintenance are submitted by the HODs to the Administrative office. The requirements are collectively processed in every semester break so as to keep things ready for the new semester. Estate office manager and his team are involved in the maintenance of infrastructure facilities. This team looks after the regular maintenance of civil works such as furniture repairs, masonry and plaster works, painting, carpentry, plumbing and house-keeping.
  • Parking facility is well organized. It is efficiently maintained by annually renewed contract employees. The campus maintenance is monitored through surveillance Cameras. Proper inspection is done and verification of stock takes place at the end of every year. The College Website is maintained regularly by the Quantumware Technical Services Pvt. Ltd, Bhubaneswar.
  • The instruments of the gymnasium are maintained through annual maintenance Contract. grounds men, vendors of sports equipment and sports committee mutually maintain the sports goods and equipments. Sports ground maintenance is done twice in a year during vacation (Summer and Winter) in addition to the time to time maintenance done in monthly basis. Floor, desk, bench cleaning of class room are done on daily basis by housekeeping cell of the Institute. All electrical appliances including ICT equipments of smart class rooms are periodically checked and maintained by concerned members of the institute.
